We decided to drive down for the day to a beach near VA beach that was a military beach and we'd heard it was much less crowded, shallower than other beaches. It was on Ft Story. We will not be going back there anytime soon---the beach could not have been any further from the parking lot then it was and then the water was way away from the beginning of the beach. Treacherous lugging all the stuff needed for a day at the beach! But we had fun while we were there...saw some more dolphins, a few helicopters flying overhead and lots of boats...
